Low-barrier circular route "Hagelgrund"

Under the motto "Exercise for all - family-friendly, barrier-free and senior-friendly," you will find low-barrier routes in the forest. On well-signposted paths, it is easier to start walking, hiking, Nordic walking, rolling or even running.

The trail, which is only 2.3 kilometers long, is currently the shortest of the low barrier trails in Kaiserslautern. The starting point for car drivers is the small parking lot on Morlauterer Straße right next to the outdoor pool "Waschmühle". The site is also easily accessible with the bus line 112 of the SWK. Along the way, the forest has created several seating areas for resting and looking around.

Opposite the sunbathing lawns of the "Waschmühle", which is one of the oldest and largest outdoor pools in Europe, an information board shows the course of the trail.

Numerous attached signs along the way serve for easy orientation.

The low-barrier trails are a joint project of the Senior Citizens' Advisory Council of the City of Kaiserslautern, the Represantive for the disabled of the City of Kaiserslautern, the Tourist Information Office, the Forestry Office Kaiserslautern and the state initiative "Rheinland Pfalz - Land in Bewegung".

The low-barrier circular route "Hagelgrund" can also be found on the Komoot Internet platform as well as on Outdooractive:
